In an application i did i added some brushed metal as tab background. I just drag'n'dropped the .jpg directly to the tab control. Doesn't it work for you?

Yamaeda, COuld you save that for previous version LV 9.0? Thanks!
ALso, I tried the tab control and inserted the picture on the 2D Picture control in the first tab and my second tab will be results tab. My question is why doesn't my image adjust to 2D control size? My picture is very high resolution, so the bottom part gets cut off. THanks!

Hi VeeJay,
I've attached the VI that saved to LabVIEW 2009.
It should work, I've checked on my PC.

The picture is simply drag'n' dropped from the windows explorer onto the tab control.
The tab control is a Classic tab control.
R-click the tabs to select "Visibility".
Use the coloring tool to paint area and borders Transparant.
It's an easy solution that works for many applications. 🙂
