Yes.  That is called setting the mechanical action of the switch to "latching".

 Hi Noah,

I'm trying to recreat the vi from your image. But I can' figure out how to get the 'boolean' in the second frame.

Any help would be grately appreciated!!

That is a local variable.  Right click on the terminal called "Boolean" and pick Create Local Variable.
