Subtracting numeric from waveform

Hi,

I wonder how a subtraction operation of a numeric value from a waveform (complex form) is performed by LabView. For example: how LabView does perform this operation x(t) - a

- x(t) : complex waveform

- a    : numeric

Is "a" is subtracted from each component of x(t) ?
