Sub vi not found error

when i run my vi....it gives error saying some of the sub vi are missing.I am now using labview 8.20 and the vi was intially done in labview 7.1. Any ideas or suggestions.

What's the name of the missing subVIs? Did you have any extra toolkits installed in 7.1?

Merge testdata. vi is the sub vi missing.Thsi vi was created in labview 7.1....but we dont have labview 7.1 here, just 8.20

Sorry, I thought this was on the same machine and you only upgraded the LabVIEW version. 😉

If you transfer a VI to a different machine (independent of the LabVIEW version installed), you need to ensure that you include all subVIs. In LabVIEW 7.1, you would "save with options" and save as e.g. development distribution". This will include all subVIs.
