I heard that the best hardware that NI offers that can be used for running all LabVIEW examples and playing with same is the following one. What do you think about it? 

NI LabVIEW Embedded Module for ADI Blackfin Processors Development Kit

My question is, is there any better hardware that you recommend that can run, if not all, then the most examples that LabVIEW provides?

Would I have any discount since I am student or if I purchase it through company, would it make less expensive?

So I need the hardware which will have DIO, analog IO, counters, LEDs, microphone, and possibly video display.

I would suggest to call your local NI office to talk with someone from the internal sales department. They can give you the best suggestion in kind of hardware/software for your application and also knows the prizes and discounts!
