String to Shared Variable error

I created a small example.

Why is in Shared Variable "Da 5" - "a"  not upper ?

Hi Iskander,

Would you be willing to provide some system information?  What Version of LabVIEW are you using and what operating system?  I am also seeing the inconsistency when running the program.

I am using LV-2010 and Win XP.

I have the same ERROR "Da5" in SVE. (See example) .

Although I created in project "DA5"

After reviewing the VI and experimenting with the issue on multiple computers running Windows 7 and LabVIEW 2011, I will be filing a corrective action request on the anomoly. It is interesting that the a is only turned to lower case when the 5 is present.
