Store 2D data into a text file

Hi, attached is my vi and a sample text  file...In this I'm formatting a text file and wish to store the formatted data into another text file, but unable to handle the final char array. How to put it into any spreadsheet file. Can anyone help around?

In 8.0, the Write/Read From Spreadsheet functions were for DBLs only. There are modification instructions on the block diagram that explain the changes necessary to work with strings. Save the changes with a new name and in a new location. Your program doesn't make much sense though. Why are you even converting the numerics to strings. What is the point of the whole program?

I'm trying to format data...I mean I'm generating a text file...in just two columns, say 30 rows and than i want to format the data say,  3 rows 20 columns and than save that data into a new modified text file... Am I clear enough?

Have you looked at the Reshape Array function? Even if you decide to write some code yourself, it still doesn't make any sense to do the conversion to strings.
