Small signal can only be triggerred in NIscope

I am using DAQ 5133.

Sometime, I need to collect some noise signal. So I just set trigger condition as Edge, rising, Norm, DC, ch0 and level '0' in my program, it can be triggerred.

But I found this only can be done when the vertical range has been set as the smallest value, such as 0.04V.

If I set the vertical range to 5V, it cannot be triggerred and will give error.

Any suggestion, thanks.

Hello Turbot,

What kind of error that you got?

How small is the voltage level that you were trying to trigger the scope acquisition?

Only when both channel range set to less than 0.01V, it can be triggered by 0.005 with rising edge.

Hi Turbot,

There should not be a limitation on the input range for you to set a trigger level of 0. I have a couple of questions regarding your attached VI, do you need to acquire on 2 channels or only 1 channel? Does your problem occur on both channels? What's the error code that you get, is it timeout?

Boon Chen
