Signal analysis from a spreadsheet file

I would like to perform signal analysis, e.g. spectral measurement, filtering, on the data stored in a spreadsheet file. I know it can be done easily with a LVM file but is not sure about spreadsheet file. I figure it will need at least the time-stamps in the first column of the spreadsheet file but don't know how to proceed from there...

If you want to use data from a spread sheet file, there are File I/O vi's Write to spreadsheet and Read from spreadsheet, these vi's can read from or write to tabular data. Maybe you can use these VI's.
