Showing an array element

Labview 5.1 - I have a front panel with a simple 1D array indicator
with only one element shown at a time. How can I programmatically
select which array element is shown in that indicator? I know there
are attributes available for the selection start and size, but I
haven't found out how to actually show the selection. Maybe there's an
better way than using attributes?

Use the attribute "Index Values" ,the control for this is a 1D array.
Set index zero of the control to the index of the indicator to display .
