In my real-time application, I have 2 deterministic loop running at different speed on the real-time target. One loop will be writing a variable and the other loop will be reading that variable. I only care about the current value of that variable. I understand from Use Shared Variables Effectively (Real-Time Module) that I should use Shared-Variable with RT-FIFO between deterministic loop and non-deterministic loop. Now that I have 2 deterministic loop, can I also use Shared-Variable with RT-FIFO or should I use something else?
As long as you are writing to the shared variable in one place, I don't see why you couldn't just continue using it.
