Serial port problem

Hi!

I have a problem with the serial port.
Every serial guide or program i've tried here or in my book (Labview graphical programming, Gary W. Johnson & Richard Jennings) comes out with the same error:

"Error -1073807202 occurred at Property Node in VISA Config Serial Port.vi->Serial Test.vi

This error code is undefined. No one has provided a description for this code, or you might have wired a number that is not an error code to the error code input."

I cant even find the Devices and Interfaces on my MAX tree on the left side of the MAX. Bug at installation or something?

Hi Nallez,

I don't think you have VISA (or a part) not installed.
If I run the error at my PC  (with VISA installed) I get this:

VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF009E) A code library required by VISA could not be located or loaded.

---
