Send serial from matlab to labview

Hi all,

I wanna have a test that this code gets serial data well. 

So, how can I send serial from MATLAB to Labview? can I use matlab script? Or other method?

I want to get serial data with received time. 

Please help me!!

Why do you replace the VISA reference control by your MATLAB script?

Why do you try to use an arbitrary string as VISA reference?

Where does the "serial" data comes from?

Do you have a MATLAB script outputting some data on a serial port?

How is your MATLAB script (and question) related to serial communication at all???

This is very confusing to me.  I believe there to be several misconceptions/misunderstandings on such a basic level that I don't see an entry point to understanding the issue.
