Send and receive sms using labview

I want to know if its possible to send and receive sms messages in labview.

What I am trying to do is build an sms chatbot in labview, and I was wondering if its possible to receive, read and then respond to an sms using labview.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Does your mobile service provider give an email address to sends SMS messages to?

For instance, for someone with Verizon you can send a message to their number @vtext.com and it arrives as a text message. If you can do this, then you can use the SMTP functions to send text messages. I'm not sure about receiving them though.
