How can I measure the signal from SSI (Serial Synchronous Interface) displacement sensor (MTS) with NI CompacDAQ or other products? Which module should I use? How to interprete the signal with Labview8.2?

Hey Jason,

Regarding the terminoligy, I think they're the same. Just check out this external forum where people discuss the differences. Also, there is a Connexions Article, that mentions one describing the other, so I think it can also be seen as a subset.
