Is there a way using the Read Characters From File VI to insert data from a binary data file into an Oracle Table using the Set SQL Binary Parameter VI? I. E. I have a .bin file created and I need to store the data or a reference to the data in Oracle. Can it be done using the SQL Tool Kit?
I am not sure if this can be done using the SQL toolkit. However, NI just announced a new toolkit that is the new and improved version. You might want to talk to a sales engineer to find out if this is possible in the new version. It looked pretty good from what I saw.
Have you figured this one out yet? I'm trying to get binary data to and from an Oracle8i column of datatype BLOB (binary) but have had no success. Let me know if you've resolved this (please).
