Running two vis simultaneously

I have designed two different vis and I want to run these vis simultaneously in a parental mode. Is it possible?

What is a parental mode?

It's easy to run multiple VIs simultaneously (have you worked through the LabVIEW training materials?);  but I have no idea what a "parental mode" is.  Give more details about what you're trying to accomplish, and you will get more detailed answers.

Yes (generally), maybe (depends on the VIs). Post code for specifics.

Also, your VIs not might like it but strong discipline is important for a good outcome when raising new VIs. Otherwise, they will run the parent.

If you just want to run both VIs at the same time, put them in a VI.

1. Put both subVIs on the block diagram of the top level VI/
2. Make sure that all inputs are valid before either VI is called.
3. Make sure nothing constrains the execution order.
