Wait - LabVIEW 4 running under Win 10, natively? Like, with some compatibility settings invoked? If so, that's great - so what am I doing wrong where I can't get the installer for LV5.1 (I misquoted the version earlier) to run?
Or am I completely misunderstanding here?

Well, what I actually have is the Version Update Software (or named similarly) that was put out a long time ago to be able to upgrade from LabVIEW 2 through LabVIEW 4. I somehow found a copy when cleaning out somebody's office. There is not an installer, just an executable and some of the support stuff.
