Rising edge detection of simulate signal

Hi guys I am using a simulate signal VI to generate 100 Hz freq of square wave now at the rising edge I should perform some task but I am not able to find any block(except RT module which I don't have) that can do that...

without using ExpressVI(s) it might be easier:

But I doubt you will be able to detect rising edges of ~100Hz signals, which are sampled at 1kHz, at realtime on a standard Windows pc...
