Reset Problem

Hello everyone,

i only have *RST and *CLS wired to Visa Resource name 1 and 2. Why couldn't i select device address from Visa Resource 2? This exe doesn't seem to have any broken wires.

it would REALLY help to have a vi instead of an exe! How should we solve this problem when we can't access the block diagram?

Why do you wire device commands (*RST, *CLS) to a resource name? These commands should be send to a device...

Hi all,

i meant to send those commands to the device by choosing the right address. The vi works fine but once i 'build' that into exe. Visa Resource 2 couldn't allow me to choose from the drop down list.

Why do you think you should be able to select anything with VISA Resource 2? It's an indicator! You can't choose anything there in the development mode either.
