I don't have the code in front of me, but I think the problem is an invoke node deep inside one of the report generation VIs that complains about a required input being missing or invalid.

Does Labview 2014 work with Office 2016?

NI tech support helped me through this.  Here's the summary in case it helps anyone else.

• Labview 2015's report generation toolkit (RGT) cannot handle Office 2016.  This problem might recur each time a new version of Office comes out.

• Labview 2016's RGT is supposed to be able to handle Office 2016.  In my case, a glitch was preventing it from working though.  I don't know how common this problem is.  The bug has now been documented at least though.

• To get things working, tech support had me drill down to the messed up invoke node, which was inside Save Report to File.vi > NI_Excel.lvclass:Save Report to File.vi > Excel_Save_Workbook.vi.  I right-clicked the invoke node and selected "Relink invoke node" or something to that effect.  That fixed everything.

Hi chrispbrown, why don't you try exporting graph image to word if you are getting problem in 2016? guide me if i am wrong
