Removing a run-time menu

How can I easily (and temporarily) remove a run-time menu associated with a vi without deleting the actual rtm file?

Hi,
use the property FP.ShowMenuBar of the vi server to show/hide menu bar, this works also with custom menus.
See example.

Thanks for your example, but what I really want is to get the default menu back, not hide the menubar. It would be nice if the run-time menu editor would let you reinstate the default menu but I don't see how to do this in LV v6.0.2. What I had to do was move the rtm file from its current location after copying it to a new location.

If you select Run-Time Menu from the Edit Menu, you should be able to change from Custom to Default in the list box at the top of the menu editor. Wehn you close the editor, you should then be prompted if you want to change run-time menu to Default.
