Yes, when I said add it to the installer, I meant add it to the files you have in the installer. Simple and best way is to add it the project.

An ini file can be created without doing a build or running the exe. It's just a text file.

I have moved out all files from the installer map after building the application so i can get the Exe Icon that i want.

So in that way also the costum icon is included in the same file that should be the same op what ?

see the attached

I don't know what you mean. If you add the ini file to the project, when you select the source files in the installer, you should see something like this.

Installer for ini.PNG

Hi Dennis, I'm afraid to tell that i've never seen this probertie before,, maybe 'coz i'm using labview 7.1.

Normally i get this Window when building an installer. And there i use the add files, But then where to find the files u're mentioning?

see added file!

That explains the confusion. LabVIEW 8.0 had an enourmous change in the way you build and distribute an application.

Something to keep in mind in the future is that when you are using such an old version of LabVIEW, include that information in the question.

Hi HFZ,

in addition to Dennis' comment: add that information to your signature, so you can't forget to mention your LV version...

Best regards,
