Reference handle

I am learning how to use reference handle,can someone explain how to use this, how to make the connecton,a example will be good.

There are typically two "connections" (assuming these are part of a subVI). What are you actually trying to do?

1. From the terminal to the rest of the code within the subVI.
2. from the caller to this subVI, via the connector pane.

Both should be no problem after a few basic LabVIEW tutorials. Start with those.
