Reading data from LVM

Hi!

I am using Labview 8 and my problem is the following: I am acquiring
data with the DAQ Express VI. The data is then written into a .lvm file,
which seems to contain the data (I have succesfully analysed it with
other software). But afterwards, I can not read out the lvm file with
the read from measurement file express VI so that it is displayed
correctly: I have tried the example Read Signal.vi, and I have tried to
connect the read from meas file.vi directly to a waveform chart or a
waveform graph (without while loop), but the data is not plotted correctly.

Could you point out were I am making a mistake?

Hi Karim,

It's quite hard to figure out what the problem could be, but as attachement you will find a little example, maybe it helps you to find the problem!

Thanks for the answer, but I have tried your read signal from file VI
with my lvm files, and it still does not turn out right. I have now a
workaround that uses the spreadsheet i/o VIs, but I am still intrigued
why my lvm files are not read correctly...

You should attach an example of one of your lvm files and the VI that you used to create it.
