Hello, I'm trying to read from a US Digital E6 encoder on LabVIEW, I'm connected to the encoder through a QSB-D, USB to Encoder connector. US digital provides three different softwares to read Counts, angles and other parameters with the encoder and they all work perfectly, the issue I have is that this website has an official VI used to read from a US digital encoder, along with 2 other VIs created by users on the website to do the same thing but when I try to use any of the VIs, LabVIEW does not connect to the COM port. I attached the VI with a screenshot of what the program looks like when I input my COM port and run it. I also attached screenshots of the softwares provided by US digital to read from an Encoder It seems like a very straightforward VI but i think i am missing something.
