Reading Unified Data Type from PLC with LabVIEW DSC Module

I am currently developing a LabVIEW application that will be using the DSC module to pass OPC data back and forth between a PC and an Allen Bradley Control Logix processor. 

One concern that was raised today was whether or not LabVIEW can read and write to UDTs in the PLC.  

Does anyone know if this is possible?

The Allen Bradley driver here seems to indicate that it supports UDT.

I was told that the DSC module uses Kepware's OPC.  So hopefully I'll get lucky and it will just work.  🙂
