Read position in real time for Thorlabs

Solved!
Go to solution

Matt,

Weirdest thing happened... I wired in a seperate stop control for the "Get Position" loop, and it went into the loop. Not sure why this is, but at least it went into the loop.

Now this is what happens. It will still stop program flow while moving. But when I did a long slow move, causing the move command to timeout, it started updating the position in real time, and continued moving. Not sure what to do to fix all that?

Thanks,

SM

Oh,

I missed that wire as well.  You also had the stop wire for the second loop coming from the main loop.  You should really look into data flow in labview.  The second loop will not iterate until all the data is available, in your case that data was not available until the main loop completed.
