Quick Client functionality in LabVIEW with DSC?

I was wondering if the subject line was possible....

For example:
user presses a button and the app looks for OPC servers on the network...  provide them in a drop-down for the user to select...  then, after selecting a server, provide another drop-down with the tags associated with the selected server...

With LabVIEW DSC the only way to find Tags (create I/O servers) is either manually in the Project Explorer, or programmatically using the VI's in the DSC pallete.
