Questions about integral x(t)

Hi, I want to obtain velocity and position by integrating acceleration. If the data is acquired in a time loop, then dt equals the period of the iteration, correct?

  Also, I'm having trouble setting the initial condition for the integral x(t) vi . In my mind, the result of the integration should be stored in a shift register to be used as the initial condition for the next iteration,  though all I get through this approach is  a bunch of zeroes . Perhaps I don't get math.
