Question about VIs for running Hardware

Hello,
I am a new LabView programmer, and I'm working for a university for the summer. My task is to create a LabView program which can run via a Datasocket connect over the internet (allowing users from anywhere in the world to operate the equipment here.) My first problem however, is that I can not seem to find the relevant VIs to bring the Wykeman sheer tester on-line. The start up, gather information, etc... I know how to work the Datasocket and the rest, but I looked all around and can't find any Wykeman VIs. Thanks in advance for the help

I just searched the web for anything having to do with a Wykeman sheer tester, and I came up with nothing. Perhaps you could contact the manufacturer of the device and see if they have any LabVIEW VIs that you can use. Otherwise, you may need to develop your own instrument driver for the device...you will need to become familiar with the command set of the device in order to send the proper commands from LabVIEW.
