Prototype SMT Reflow Oven Controller

I am using the 'Prototype SMT Reflow Oven Controller' that I received through www.stencilsunlimited.com and can also be found on www.articulationllc.com.  I would like to use labview to monitor/record temperature (serial port) that is returned from the oven thermocoupler but haven't had any luck with it or hyperterminal.  I was hopeing that someone has used this item before and perhaps written some LV code for it.

Did you set up Hyperterminal as below?

The serial protocol is 9600 baud, 1 start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, and no parity
