Prompt User witht menu ring selector

I would like to be able to use the Prompt User vi from the Dialog and User Interface menu to get input from the user, and I would like the user to be able to select the input from a menu ring.  Is there a way to prompt the user with a menu ring selector in the dialog box?  Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

You can make a vi to do this using the dialog template from new vi.  It will require a little programming but not too much.

Im not sure that I understand what you mean, I dont know what the dialog template from new vi is.  New vi just opens a blank vi, can you tell me where I need to look to find what you are talking about?

Goto new (now new vi) and select template then Dialog using events (very flexable but requires more labview know-how) or dialog.  This will start a dialog vi for you, drop your dropdown list, and wire the control to an indicator version to wire as the output.  Move the indicator offscreen or hide it.  You will be left with a dialog with a dorpdown list to select from, work from that and build up the required features.  Sorry I am not a fan of using the express vis I use the manual approach, that way the vi will scate to my needs.
