Programmatically insert image into boolean as a decal

I'm looking to automate the creation of a small number of boolean controls, so I'd like to be able to programmatically insert an image into a control as a decal. I've searched through the properties and methods for a boolean control reference, with scripting enabled in LV2010, and I cannot see anything for this. I've also searched the forums and the Community, but no luck. Is it not possible?

Thanks for the link. M recent searches on LAVA showed similar info. Looks like I'm stuffed, unless I wish to start messing with .ctl file content.

Tried the UI Tools Control Creator Addon but I can't seem to get it to work. It does say it's Beta I suppose.
