Problems with Load DAC.flx

Hi
I am having problems to use the "Load DAC" on labview 8.2.. I am using NI7730 with a UMI 7764 and I want to put an analog value on the UMI and it always appears " Error -70022 occured at Load DAC.flx  Possible reasons: This command is not supported by this controller or operating system". Can you help me with this?

Best Regards

Hi,

Could you provide the version of NI-Motion that you installed?

Are you sure to have a NI7730 card?

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry.

That is not a NI7730 card but a NI7330 card.. My NI-Motion is 4.6..

If it is not possible to have an analogic value on an output of the UMI is there another way? Can I use a Digital output?

Thanks,

Best Regards

Hi,

Analog output is not available on 7330 card.

Can you explain a little bit more about your project.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have a linear miniature actuator that needs to operate 5Vdc and I need to control its movement with labview 8.2, by changing its polarity.

To retract:   0V - 5V

To extend:  5V - 0V

Thanks for your time..

Hi,

Do you have a motor drive or an amplifier?

Because you can reverse the polarity by using h bridge.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understood your question..

I have the NI7330 connected to the UMI7764 and from an output of the UMI I want to have 5 Vdc. And from it I can use the H bridge like you explained..

Thanks,

Rafael
