Problems with LIN starter Kit 1.0

Hi,

I just came across the LIN starter kit and I wanted to extract the schedule table from the master node. I tried many combinations to extract this info but it always throws out an error. The only way I can extract some info would be through the 'frames' and then extracting the ID.

Now, the only two items I require would be the message type and the schedule time. Does any one have any experience using this?

Regards,
Ashm01.

Attached is a sample VI and LDF File using the toolkit.

Hi Ashm01,
Which error messages are you receiving when you
try to extract the schedule table?

John,

I am unable to retrieve the LIN Master -schedule table, it usually outputs something like  '6002'. (Undefined error)

Are there any readymade examples which allow me to retrieve the same this info?

Regards,

Ashm01

Hi Ashm01,
I assume you are referring to the LDF Starter kit found here:
http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/websearch/47FDEF06375659178625721A00604878?opendocument&node=132060_US

All of the kit specific examples are located in the LDFExamples.llb Library file.

In addition in LabVIEW->Help->Find Examples->Search->LIN there are several more LIN examples.

Regards,

Hi John,

The example I require is not there. In fact, I am seeking a basic functionality of extracting the schedule table itself.  I also saw the example finder but all those are pertaining to the actual bus communication which does not help me. The examples included in the llb file are not that detailed where it explains the required functionality. Can some one assist for troubleshooting the extraction of the table?

The LDF file I have included is a basic example from Vector and the LLB should be able to parse it, but it returns errors.
