Problems installing App Builder

Hi I just got a new computer and naturally wanted to install LabView 6 on it. LabView 6.0 installed just fine and the updater to version 6.02 also worked as it should. However when I try to install the App Builder it crashes in while copying the files (looks like it's almost done). It stops responding and a process called msiexec.exe along with LSASS.exe takes all my CPU cycles. When I try to run the App Builder I get two 1003 errors with the same error message "Error 1003 occurred at Open VI Reference in Dist Call Get Icons.vi....." Anybody know what I need to do get App Builder installed properly?? My system is a brand new Dell P4 2GHz machine running Win2K SP2.
Thanks

Hi,

don't know if its relevant, but I've had problems installing loads of NI
stuff on Dell machines recently - I think the CD-ROM dirve is just too fast
or too sensitive to slight flaws in the media. I've tended to actually copy
the files to a temp directory on a hard drive and installed from there. So
far this has worked in 100% of cases.

All the best

Andy
