Get Blue Screen when using "Quit Labview"

I am using the Quit Labview function and get a blue screen saying "Process has locked pages", when called. I am running, Windows 2000 and Labview 6.0.2. Any ideas?

Terry,

Sure, I have ideas...

Check to be sure all of your sessions and references are closed. Somewhere, you appear to have a resource or similar still open when you try to close.

I had a very similar event happen when quitting labview with an open IMAQ session. Be sure you are closing everything.

Good luck.

Just to narrow it down a bit more, blue screens happen because a
protected piece of software is doing something illegal. By protected, I
mean that it is part of the kernel or part of a driver. An application
like LV cannot cause a blue screen alone no matter what instruction it
executes or what address it accesses. If it can, then that is a gap in
the OS protection and the OS would consider it a bug. The reason I
bring this up is that you should focus your effo
rts on driver resources,
then on OS resources before worrying about closing a window or a file.
