Thanks for the post and I hope your well today.
I am sorry to read your having a problem with installing LabVIEW 8.6.
What steps are you taking when your installing - it doesn't seem your DVD is corrupt if it worked to install LabVIEW on another machine.
By order - I mean, are you installing everything of the disks.. maybe try just installing LabVIEW 8.6, then Modules, then Drivers (with a rebot between the steps)?
Are the machines of similar specifications?
Did the machine have previous versions of NI software installed? - do they still work?
You get no error message - do you have to manual reset your machine then?
Please let me know the extra detail and I'll keep looking into potential problems you may have faced,
