Problem with USB comunication

when i turn on my pc to start my program always my program doesn't recognize the usb device....i have to leave and to connect my usb cable many times, turn off and turn on my oscilloscope and my labview program many times too...

what is the problem?

Well I don't know any more than you do but I assume you know more than I do.

Please share more information so that we can have a clue as to what exactly the problem is.

Which "program" doesn't recognise the device, a LV program?  Is the Oscilloscope the USB device?

yes....Labview doesn't recognize usb device (oscilloscope)...from my visa resources i see only COM(s) and LPT1, after i "play" with my usb cable and pc it recognize also USB device

LabVIEW has nothing to do with recognition of a USBTMC device. The USB connection is first detected by windows and then by MAX (which depends on VISA). Check windows device manager and then MAX. Update to the latest NI-VISA version that is compatible with your ancient version of LabVIEW. See here.

That does not make any sense. Windows must detect the instrument. If it doesn't, perhaps you have a bad port/bad cable.

windows detect it....it appears a window in the down-right corner 🙂 but it says me that is impossible recognize the device....but i think it's normal...also when my usb-device is in my visa resources list tell me the same thing

It is not normal at all. There is a problem with whatever version of windows you are using or the windows driver for the scope.

MAX runs on top of windows.  If Windows can't see the device, MAX certainly can't either.

Either your cable or your USB port connector is not working properly.
