Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a project to show VI version with a right clic on the VI,

I've used two method node two get the file path and the VI version : the VI is working for 2012 and 2011 VI

When I want to call the exe I've got the 1126 error "LabVIEW: VI version is too old to convert to the current version of LabVIEW." with 2011 VI, ok for 2012 ...

Have you got some ideas ?

Your link is useful to help me to understand my problem !

The thing is : I don't want to upgrade old VIs to the 2012 version, I'm working on old LabVIEW project and can't upgrade them

The second solution can't be done because I just want to use my program on random VI in my computer, it is made when I need to find a VI version with a right click on it !
