Problem with Agilent 53132a LabVIEW Library

Hello All,

I am working with LabVIEW 8,5 and Agilent 53132a (Universal Counter).
I downloaded it and placed it in Program files/National Instrument/Inst Lib
but i restart LabVIEW platform, it is not showing Agilent 53132a Drivers in functions>>instrument lib

Please let me know what is exact problem i am facing with.

Yes i am facing same problem.

If you are in hurry to use it, fetch required subvi from installed drivers(as in instrlib>>folder Aglient 53132a exists).

What you can do is to mass-compile the drivers with LabVIEW 8.5, then restart LabVIEW. There are more details that can be found here. Let us know how it goes!

The issue is in LabVIEW 8.5 where the project-style drivers will not show up on the palette unless they are mass compiled in LabVIEW 8.5 version. This issue has been fixed in LabVIEW 8.5.1.

I apologize for the wrong link. The information I was speaking of can be found here. You will basically want to mass-compile the new folder in instr.lib. Let us know how it goes!

I have one llb with version 6.0.5. Am using 8.5.

I did a mass compile as per your link.

But it says as like in the attachment.

As already explained here, if a VI has no block diagram, it cannot be loaded in a newer version of LabVIEW. LabVIEW needs the source code (block diagram) to recompile the VI.
