Problem Viewing Boolean Data in a Citadel using HDV

Via my Labview Project/VI, I am using Shared Variables defined as Booleans in a Citadel database.

When I plot them using Historical Data Viewer in MAX, they are not '1's & '0' but huge positive numbers and huge negative numbers.

Yet, when I use the option to Export to Text, what I see in my .txt file is '1's & '0's.

How can I get HDV to plot the correct Boolean values?

They are -50 & 50 if I plot using the default Display Settings (right-click and choose Properties).

I have tried resetting the Plot Min/Max to -1000 & 1000 respectively, and what-do-you-know, the values of the Boolean are -1000 or 1000.

I am working with Labview 8.6 and Max 4.50f0.

Hi Gretchen,

I talked to R&D and they said this is expected behavior. The min/max from the properties from the hypertrend properties reflect what is considered as true and false on the chart.

Is there a reason you cannot set these to 0 and 1?
