Print Report Error

Hi,

When I try to print a standart landscape report, Print Report.vi gives error (error -41002 NI-Reports: Invalid printer Name)

I can read Default printer with query avilable printers vi so the name can not be wrong. Do you have any suggestion ? The default printer is adobe pdf...

This was reported to R&D (# 3SFARBLG) for further investigation. A possible work around is to use an alternative to Adobe called PDF 995
This PDF printer driver appears to avoid this error. I hope this helps!

Two other good alternatives that are ad-free are PDF Creator and CutePDF Writer.

I'm also getting Error -41002. I have a default HP Printer connected. It is a Network Printer.

I'm able to print through LabVIEW if i select Word or Excel. But if i select Standard Report i get the above error.

Please Suggest....

Hi

I have to print the report directly to the Hardware Printer. Nick R and Mikeporter were suggesting workaround about printing to PDF.

When i was using LabVIEW 7.1, i was able to print directly to the printer. Now currently i'm using Report Generation for LabVIEW 8.6 and it gives this error. And as i have already told i'm able to print directly to the printer if i choose word or excel report types. Only the Standard Report gives this error.
