Pressure trigger for a camera

Hi,

I have used LabVIEW before so I'm not a complete novice but it has been a while now. I would like to set up a simple control loop. I have a pressure transducer and at predetermined pressure steps I would like to output a trigger signal for a set of cameras I have. I have all the relavent hardware but need reminding how to program LabVIEW.

Any help much apprieciated as, it will enevitably save hours of me picking inappropriate vi's and condtional loops that go haywire Smiley Happy

Thanks

Nic

Hi Nic,

I think the best place to start is the built-in LabVIEW examples. These can be found in the example finder under Help>> Find Examples.

The other option is to take a look at some of the examples available on our community pages. You can find these by going to www.ni.com/community.

Here’s a few I found to get you started:

http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-7501
http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-9112

http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/2920
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4329

In order to see if your camera is supported you can go to this link: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4329

You can generate your own camera file from this link as well.

I hope this helps.
