Phase Harmonics

Hi every body.

How measure the phase between the order harmonics?

Example

I need measure the phase between the 3rd harmonics and 4th harmonics.

Regards

Thank you

What are you using to define the phase reference?  Since the period of each harmonic is different, multiple definitions of "phase" may occur.

For example the positive zero crossing of the fundamental could be the timing reference or the 3rd harmonic or the 4th.  Similarly 120 degrees of the fundamental is 360 degrees of the third harmonic.

Please  define carefully exactly what you are trying to measure.  A picture or graph might be very useful.

Spring,

I think we need more information to help you with your question.

How is your signal being generated?

What version of LabVIEW are you using? Do you have any additional signal processing software (i.e. Sound and Vibration Toolkit)? What versions?

Have you been able to program LabVIEW to detect the harmonics? If so, what methods did you use?

A screen shot of an example of what you mean to measure would also be helpful!

Thanks,
