Hi Ravens,

Yes, the progress bar of a disk defrag is what I am looking for.  The picture control approach sounds interesting.  I am not really familiar with it, can you point me to the right direction?  thanks!

I don't know why we'd consider intensity graphs or picture rings when a very simple boolean array would work. Attached is an example of how to do the bar I explained earlier.

This array would work for 100 elements, and I think it is a great idea.
