I need to replace one of my company's older PC's and need to upgrade the LabVIEW 2010 executable on it to LabVIEW 2017. The problem I'm facing is that we had a third party create the exe and they used a packed library, which doesn't open in the LabVIEW version outside of the one that it was created in (2010). The VIs in the packed library are user password protected with no access to the block diagram so I can't even recreate the VIs. The company has since went out of business. I thought about just using a LabVIEW 2010 runtime engine on the new computer but the runtime engines for additional installers only go down to 2012. Any suggestions on how to get around this issue?

Passwords can be cracked so that may work for you if you have the source code with the diagrams.

How would I go about cracking it if it's user passed?

If you can, post your code...
We can try in our side.
