PXI remote interface

Dear All,

      I am first time user of labVIEW7.0 & RT 7.0 and pxi.

      In my application i am having PXI chassis -- PXI-1002

                                                                             Controller NI PXI-8176

                                                                             Timer I/Ocard NI PXI-6602 and

                                                                             2 Nos. Multifunction I/O NI PXI-6071E

I am using this PXI system as a remote system(IP address 172.24.10.162) connected to host PC(IP address 172.24.10.163) with ethernet. I am able to connect PXI  in MAX 4.5. But in MAX i can't get timer card and multifunction card visible.I had tried proceedure given in MAX help. 

        Earlier, I could get devices visible in MAX 3.0 version. 

        When i had installed evaluation version of LV8.6, MAX have been upgraded to MAX4.5. Now i can't see PXI devices(Timer I/Ocard NI PXI-6602 and 2 Nos. Multifunction I/O NI PXI-6071E )

 Please give me and guide me to develop my application.

I assume the DAQmx driver is missing, so I would suggest to install NI-DAQmx 8.9.

Dear Christian,

          I have installed DAQmx 8.3. But in Remote system-->PXI-->software---> there is Traditional DAQ 7.0.

With this target setting i could see devices in MAX 3.0.

         But now i have installed LV8.6 Evaluation version, i get upgrade MAX 4.5 Now i can't see PXI devices (Timer module and multifuction IO module installed in my PXI chassis).

Same answer as before, please install DAQmx 8.9, but reinstall the other DAQmx driver bevor.

Dear Christian,

         Thanks for your guidance but still after installing NIDAQ 8.9, i couldn't find device listing in MAX. I can have -- Remote Systems tab---under this i could find PXI-----under which i could find (1) data neighbourhood,  (2)Devices and Interfaces, (3) Scales and (4) Software.

         Under (2) Devices and Interfaces, i couldn't find any device listing my PXI chassis have.   My PXI chassis have NI-PXI-8176 controller, 2 Nos of NI PXI-6071E MIO and one NI PXI-6602 Timiing IO.

Dear Mr. Christian,

         Thanks for your help. But DAQmx could not work. I had uninstalled  all NI conponents and reinstalled with my LabView7.0 and LVRT7.0 with the old DAQmx. I could able to interface remote PXI via ethernet and i can now develop LV application and run on remote PXI. I tried second time with new DAQmx but it didn't work. May be in new version device support may not be there. As i have PXI-6071E multifuction IO card.
