PXI System hangging Problem

Hello Mr. Chad,

Thanks for your reply.

As per your question reasons for PXI getting hung are as follows.

1 . It does not get hung in one particular module/ are a particular place. It keeps normally changing (i.e. it does not get hung in particular point of code). This is cross-checked by writing a message to the CRT at every point OR module. Note when it gets hung at this instant, the system does not rebooted automatically.

2. Sometimes the system gets reboots, giving a message
"System Rebooting Due to internal System Error".

3. Sometimes the system reboots without any message.

4. Sometimes it says error in memory.c OR thread.c and stops.

5. One more information, it has been noticed the frequency of hanging is more af
ter TCP/IP communication.

For your information: -

The Ni-Daq is also updated to 6.9.1 (Also after updating the PXI-RT. The version of NI-DAQ on PXI-RT still shows as 6.9.0. Any reason to show so.

We are using SCXI system for reading the vibration data (Please note we have disabled the excitation to the sensor through configuration window on "Remote system explorer?). As our sensor is excited through a suppurate amplifier.

Other details are: -
PXI system used - PXI-1002
Card's used - 6052E(Multifunction card)
- 6527 (digital Input / Output card.
Labview ver. - 5.1.2

Also Iam attaching the RTlog file for your information.

Please let me know the solution for the above problem. As I am in a very critical state, not knowing to do
what next.

Mahesh,

At this point, I would recommend visiting http://www.ni.com/ask, and selecting E-mail NI Engineers. Send an email detailing the problem with instructions on how to reproduce it. You will need to strip code out of your original VIs that is not relavent to reproducing the problem. Also, since the engineers do not have your equipment, you will need to try to reproduce the problem with no cables connected to the 6052 or 6527. Try to make the VIs as simple as possible.
